About

Andrea Atzori was born on October 8, 1994 in Cagliari (Italy).

He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data laboratory (AIBD - Department of Mathematics and Computer Science), University of Cagliari, Italy. His research interests include machine learning, fairness and privacy in biometric systems and explainable AI. He received a Bachelor’s (108/110) and a Master’s degrees (Cum Laude) in Computer Science from University of Cagliari, Italy, in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

During his time as a Ph.D. student, he is mentored and supervised by Dr. Mirko Marras and Prof. Gianni Fenu.
